Jaquet Droz / Glashütte Original – Joint boutique in Tokyo Replica Buyers Guide

The Nicolas G. Hayek Center is located at the heart of Ginza, Tokyo’s luxury shopping area. Standing apart from neighboring structures thanks to a striking plant wall that descends from the roof down to street level, the building is home to the Swatch Group and boutiques for Breguet, Blancpain, Glashütte Original & Jaquet Droz, Omega, Longines, Swatch, and an after-sales center that spans three floors.

Jaquet Droz and Glashütte Original have unveiled their newly renovated shared boutique. Marc Aellen, Vice President and Head of International Sales at Jaquet Droz, and Christophe Savioz, President and Chief Representative of Swatch Group Japan, cut the red ribbon at the opening ceremony.

The 60 m2 boutique seamlessly links the two brand worlds: on the left in the new boutique Jaquet Droz welcomes its guests in designer style with a pared-down palette of black, grey and silver, while Glashutte Original Pocket Watch Replica on the right presents a tasteful blend of ebony oak and beige enamel surfaces in a refined, well-lit setting.

In the boutique, customers can leisurely browse the Jaquet Droz collections and avail of a unique and exclusive dial customizing service.

On the occasion of this reopening and to celebrate the brand’s future in Japan, the Grande Seconde Quantième Meteorite made its world premiere in the boutique.

Boutique Information:
You will note that the bracelet is intended to get pretty much no gaps. It moves easily across the wrist thanks to tight tolerances and a structure which utilizes a huge variety of different parts. Even sizing the bracelet isn’t typical, and made to be semi-tool-less. In order to eliminate hyperlinks, you will find little pushers on the inside to release them. The bracelet’s fold-over locking deployant includes a discreet micro-adjust system which has been at the Glashütte Original family in one manner or another for a fantastic time today. In fact, Glashütte Original is one of the first brands in today’s era to offer a well-engineered micro-adjust system. What that this does is enable you to have about a centimeter of distance to adjust the size of the bracelet in approximately single-millimeter increments. This is run by the pressing on the “hidden” button which is that the Glashütte Original brand logo on the bottom of the clasp. The main reason you want this is that it allows you to expand and contract the bracelet size even while it’s on your wrist to always ensure precise comfort as weather or alternative conditions may obviously cause your wrist size to slightly vary through the day.Glashütte Original also provides the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date (or the non-Chronograph version) on two strap options. All these really are a fitted alligator or rubberized strap. Each looks fine and is comfortable, but given that I’m a “necklace man,” I will choose the matching steel above a strap pretty much anytime.
